SP68 is one of the hottest labels in the world of natural wine today. Named after the “strada provinciale 68″ or “provincial road 68″ that runs leads to her village in rural Sicily, the wine is a blend of two native Sicilian grapes, Frappato (which gives the wine sexy, luscious fruit flavors and aromas) and Nero d’Avola (which imparts tannic structure and notes of seductive licorice and eastern spice). A rising star of natural wine, Arianna says it expresses the terroir of her land just like the road that leads through it.
